The climate is that of the desert, the temperatures are extreme, with big variations between day and night. In summer, the temperature can reach 45ºC and go down to -10ºC in winter.
The Zonda, a warm wind that lifts enormous whirls of sand, changes the area in a few days. The south wind on the other hand lowers the temperature. During the night, the air is completely clean, which allows a clear view of the stars.
It can be foggy in the morning, but at noon the visibility is extraordinary.

The days are very hot and the nights are cold. There are torrential rains in summer and in spring.
The park can be visited the whole year round. Especially in autumn, winter and the beginning of spring. In summer, due to the heat, it is better to visit the Talampaya park in the early morning.
