Cuesta de Miranda
The Cuesta de Miranda is famous for its 800 turns. This route in the Sierra de Sañogasta, 56 km away from Chilecito, is one of La Rioja's attractions.
From the highest point, at 2020m there is an exellent panorama on the Río Miranda. The people in La Rioja say that it looks like a silver ribbon. The route, although it is not asphalted, is secure, nevertheless, one has to be careful, and it is recomended to blow the horn at every curve.
