The flora of Ischigualasto except for the plants along the banks of the river, is the typical flora of the desert. There are algarrobos (Prosopis Alba), white quebrachos (Aspidosperma quebracho blanco), chaņares (Geoffroea Decorticans), brooms and chicos (Ramaninoa Girolae) famous for its reddish wood and extraordinary hardness. In the south cardones ( Trichocereus Terscheckii), exist, some are 3 meters high. There are also jarillas and espinillos (Acacia Caven).
