Puerto Madryn Museums: el Museo Oceanográfico, In the Chalet Pujol there are mineral collections and fossilized stones and the Museo de Arte Moderno with a collection of paintings by Argentine masters.

In the Península de Valdés Reserve, one has to pay an entrance fee of $5, kids are free and students and pensioned people $3.

Hunting and fishing are not permitted.

Puerto Pirámides
There is a camping site in Puerto Pirámides and there are also hotels (around 280 beds) and restaurants. There are 6 companies that can leave the port, the excursions lasts from 45 minutes to 3 hours.The fee is $20 to 25 US$
The submarine excursions are also organised from Puerto Pirámidas.

In Punta Pardelas, some12 km away from Pirámides one can fish, do snorkling and dive in. One can reach Punta Pardelas by route 2 or by trekking from Pirámides along the bardas.
In Caleta Valdés ( 30km from Punta Norte by a route along the coast) there is a colony of sea elephants. There is a restaurant in Caleta Valdés.
In Punta Delgada, the hotel is an old lighthouse (hab.double $100, tel.: 471910). From the coast one can see sea elephants, sea lions and even killer whales. From Puerto Pirámide one can visit the sea lion colony in Punta Pirámide, in the mating season from december to march.

Recomendations for Tourists
There are usually stones on the routes in the penionsula, so one has to be very careful when driving. Do not brake abruptly and do not drive over 60 km/h and put 2 pounds more in your tires. In the Peninsula there is no gasoline and no water. Do not forget you films.
