The Climate
Located in the northeast region of the Province of Chubut, Puerto Madryn
has a temperate climate.
The shortage of rains determines a semi-arid zone, increased by the action
of the winds. It rains 175 mm a year and the rains are scarce in summer.
The annual medium temperature is 12ºC. The medium temperature of the water
in Golfo Nuevo is 18ºC in summer, and 7ºC in winter.
