Access
The route N 2 to the Península de Valdés is near Puerto Madryn. 18 km north of Puerto Madryn , paved Provincial Route 2 branches off Route N 3 across the isthmus Carlos Ameghino to get to the Península de Valdés. During the season , mid June to mid December, it is worthwhile making the first part of the Provincial Route 4. Although the route is only gravelled, one can have the opportunity of seeing whales in the beach of El Doradillo.
