Cerro Catedral (15K)

It is the most important ski centre of South America. It has more than 67 km of ski possibilities and it allows an uninterrupted descent of almost 4 km from 2000 meters on the sea level. In the Cerro Catedral one can also make hang gliding, mountain bike in the snow, snowboard, polo in the snow, etc.
In Villa Cathedral there is an important centre of winter sports with excellent tourist services. The ski centre has 33 means of elevation among those that stand out the lifts of Robles and Ladobueno and the cable car, which works in winter and in summer.
The Refuge Emilio Frey is located at 1.700 meters near the Laguna Tonchek. The ascent can be carried out from Villa Cathedral and it requires around 4 hours walking It is recommended to request information before beginning the ascent since there are tracts of difficult access.
