Southern Lakes

Bariloche is the capital of the lakes in the Provinces of Neuquén and Río Negro. It has excellent hotels and an international airport with daily flights.
It is located on the Southeast bank of the Lago Nahuel Huapi and within the Nacional Park Nahuel Huapi in the Province of Río Negro.
From there you can visit the : Cerro Catedral, Cerro Otto, Island Huemul, Playa Bonita, Cerro Tronador, Cascada los Alerces, Lake Steffen, Parque Llao Llao.

Gutierrez Lake (28 K)

From Bariloche one can visit the following lakes: Circuito Grande, Circuito Chico and the 7 lakes, and the Isla Victoria and Bosque de Arrayanes (Arrayanes Wood) and Puerto Blest.
The most attractive excursion is the one of the 7 lakes which is 200 km long.
