How
to Get to the Iguazú Falls:
There are daily flights from Buenos Aires
to Puerto Iguazú (approximately
1h 40´), where accommodation should be looked for.
You can also travel from Buenos Aires by bus (17 hours to cover 1,234
km).
From Puerto Iguazú to the waterfalls there is a regular bus service. (
see Data). From Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) there is also a bus service to
visit the waterfalls from the Brazilian side. Tours that can be taken
in Puerto Iguazú, Posadas and Buenos Aires.
If you want to go by car, this it is the road:
From Puerto Iguazú take the RN 12 and after passing several hotels, at
km 6, you arrive at the Tourist Information Office. There one enters the
National Park of Iguazú; after 12 kilometres you get to a triangle where
one of the routes (N 12) leads to Posadas. Take the route in direction
Airport until you get to the Administration Centre and Tourist Information
Office of the National Park.
If you take to the right at the triangle in direction Posadas,
after 36 km you arrive at Wanda.
If you want to go to the Brazilian side, there is a bridge over the river
Iguazú, very near the city of Puerto Iguazú. After crossing the bridge
and when arriving at the Avenida de las Cataratas, turning to the right
you arrive at the waterfalls and if you take to the left you get to the
city of Foz do Iguaçu.
