There are different forms
of travelling in Buenos Aires:
Buenos Aires is an ideal city to walk. In the most central neighbourhoods
there is a lot of activity at all times.
To move from one neighbourhood to the other we recommend using one of
the following means:
The subway called subte
by porteños
It costs 60 cents and all combinations can be made inside its net of 5
lines.
The bus, called colectivo:
There are more than 150 lines of colectivos that cover the whole city.
There are two rates inside the city: $0,65 and $0,70 that charge according
to the journey. On e has to pay with change in coins to get the ticket
of the machines that work inside each bus.
The taxi:
They are painted black and yellow, and the minimum trip is of $1,12. If
one wants to take it at night, it is advisable to request it by telephone.
By train if one want to visit the surroundings:
One can takew them at the following stations:

north or the west. From there one can take the train to go to Delta in
Tigre or to go to the Tren de la Costa.
